Ball screw replacement · per assembly
Ball screws, quoted to length.
A ball screw assembly is the screw, the nut and whatever the ends need to seat in your support bearings. We quote the whole assembly cut and end-machined to length. Journals are turned to your drawing, or to the old screw if you send it or measure it properly. A screw that arrives the right lead and the wrong journal is no use to you on a Monday.
Two numbers decide the screw. Lead is how far the nut travels per turn: 5 mm, 10 mm, 0.200 in and so on. It has to match what your control's pitch compensation and motor gearing expect. Accuracy grade is how far the travel can drift from true over a length. C5 is ground and tighter, the usual choice on machining centres. C7 is rolled, costs less, and is fine on routers and older knee-mill retrofits.
What we see most: a shop orders C7 to save money on a VMC axis, then spends a week chasing positioning error the compensation table can't hide. If the machine left the factory with C5, put C5 back.

Price basisPer assembly, cut and end-machined to length, quoted on inquiry. The quote depends on diameter, grade and how much end machining the journals need.
